Our lovable hero Ivan Rankic has shared this mix that he carefully concocted for the Shambhala music festival this year. Ivan is arguably Calgary’s hardest working DJ playing 3 weeklies in town + rocking other shows as half of Hej Zeus ( along with DJ Heebz ), and as half of The Longhairs ( along with GSD ), as well as constantly traveling outside it sharing his longhaired gospel. He has also been trying his hand at production as of late having his Moombahton edits blogged about by some nice folks, including the good people over @ Diplo‘s Maddecent. The second installment of the Big concert series, the first of which featured Diplo, Mat the Alien, Smalltown DJs, & Piranha Piranha, is taking place this Saturday @ Flames Central in Calgary. This time the lineup features the UK’s Plump DJs, a live set by our own Neighbour, & world class sweethearts Pump & Hedspin.
