Spiltmilk (he’s a DJ and a video maker guy!?!?) sent over his newly finished video, for the classic “Slingshot Boogie” by our good friends All Good Funk Alliance, which just so happens to feature our own Think Tank on vocals. Check it on the Homebreakin Youtube page. He also just posted a killer new mix up on his Soundcloud page. Check that. + He played in Saskatoon last night, is playing in Edmonton tomorrow (Jun 18) with Mr. Sofalumpkins & Dr. Funkinchunkin, and is playing the North Country fair the next day. Check those. Smalltown Romeo‘s first release for Plant Records is out today exclusively on Beatport. If you don’t know Smalltown Romeo is what happens when Calgary’s hometown heroes, and owners of the HiFi Club; The Smalltown DJs & our own Wax Romeo hook up and make sick love magic party jams. The track is called Boom Ha and features London Ontario’s Shad K on vocals. The song has a ton of sick remixes and has been split into two separate releases, the first of which features remixes by DJ Wool of The Glass, and Sammy Bananas. Cop it.
